I’ve written my first acceptance speech, sitting at my tiny desk in the living room with a stained apron, dreaming to wear a red dress and high heels and to stand in front of some of the best food writers, bloggers and editors of our time. I am sure I would have cried, I’m emotional.
We didn’t make to Cincinnati, but Juls’ Kitchen won the Saveur Editors’ choice award for Best Food Culture Blog. This means so much to us: 10 years of Saveur Blog Awards, and 10 years of Juls’ Kitchen, 10 years of recipes, stories, memories and photos from Tuscany.
We chose to believe in Tuscany, in its potential, in its hidden secrets and traditional recipes. We are continuously questioning ourselves: is it possible to add something personal, to tell something new about a region which is now suffering an overexposure on Social Media and in tourism? Of course it is: we share our perspective, our curiosity and our vast love and respect for a region that we call home. And we are proud to share it all with you, through stories and recipes.
Thank you for supporting Juls’ Kitchen! You turned one of our biggest dreams in realty!
