A new contest: Recipes for Happiness

After the first contest, Sunday Morning, I spent months looking for a new theme that could well represent one of those moments that may present itself with more or less frequently in our lives, one of those moments when you feel down and you need something to cheer up your blue mood. And then I reminded the scene where Bridget Jones sings with her red pajamas and all the voice and the desperation she has in her body “All by myself”. How do you react to such a moment?

Theme.
Recipes for happiness. Today is one of those days. One of those days where everything goes wrong, from the stolen parking lot to your new shoes ended up by mistake  in a puddle, from the battery that leavs you at half conversation at the telephone to your mood that falls dizzly to touch levels never seen before. What are you doing? How do you fight this blue mood that wraps you and veil your heart of sadness and melancholy? How do you return the world to what it should be, a twinkle of glittering colors? Which is the recipe that helps you? what are those gestures, those ingredients, those ritual movements that bring the smile back in your life? Tell me your favorite recipe for these moments and the rituals that save your mood.

The prizes.
I have to thank again Macchine Alimentari and Christopher, who keep on believing in our foodblog world and decided to offer as a prize some sets made of recipe book(*) and moulds for the winners: we will choose 10 recipes between all the partecipants, then YOU will have the chance to vote for your favourite one. The first three classified will recive at home.. surprise surprise!

Compared with the previous contest, this time we decided to introduce the best photo section, which sees an extraordinary  judge, Ilva from Lucullian Delights. I’m really proud and happy that she, a woman that I consider one of the best and nicest foodbloggers, and a very sensitive photographer indeed, can be the judge to decide which  photo has best interpreted the theme. Thanks Ilva, I’m so happy to begin a long cooperation!! 😉

(*) If you have already those recipe books, you can ask to substitue your prize with a book of equale value. And, if you’re not speaking Italian, don’t worry, we can search for something in English!
